Sleeping beauty gets a new bed and sheets
She has a way of not sleeping with the sheets just the blanket...these are the most wild sheets ever on any of my kids beds..it's what she wanted.
Just so happy to be able to buy her a new bed.
Looks like she will have many hours of good sleep.

Doesn't take much to make me smile!
So excited to see that this Hawaiian plant that I have never been able to grow is growing.
My daughter was giving this and didn't want it so she gave it to me. When I got it all the leaves fell off and I didn't water it to much. My hope was that I just put it in a safe place and let it get use to here.
Looks like my hope for it happened.
I can't wait to see what color the flower will be.
The wait is on...lol
Here's that walk way to the front door of this house I live in.
Its does add something to those few step before opening the ghetto door.
I was trying not to get the broken down drive way in the picture but its hard to miss.
Who ever put the bricks down started good, they just needed to finish the job on the end.
But, that is this whole house, jobs started and not finished. Like the wood floors that didn't get finished but, having someone come in a pay rent was what he needed. I needed a place and what I have learned in the past two years about a home, work and family is a life time of lessons I hope my kids never have to go through.
Happiness and sadness comes in all shapes, forms and amounts of time, I am so close to getting back to happiness, those last steps are killing me.
I am, off to start my Saturday. I received a txt last night at 9:48 p.m. that over time was cancelled. It was nice of them to let me know but what time do they think we go to bed when we start at 3 a.m.? I just say thank you to all the pay checks and walk on from the rest of the unorganized ways that I must put up with. Putting a suggestion in that box on the wall next to the time clock is useless!! I have tried. That is what happens when someone that talks a good talk and has no clue of how to be a lead or a supervisor get the job! Oh, and she works so hard...hard? not in my eyes. My satisfaction at the end of the day is when I notice that people follow in what I have done. They fill out the paper work like I do...one lesson they have learned from me and they come to me first when they don't know how to solve a problem...at least the people who work around me have more hidden respect for me then the one with the title. Enough said...now if only those who have the power to change this issue would find the time to read this maybe some eyes would open up and this company would make money and hire more people like me. Wishful thinking again!
Was that called a rant?
So sorry you read what was truly on my mind.
Have a wonderful Saturday....I will do better today. I will say good morning to my kids with a smile and get my daily hug from them and be the one who lets go last!
Hug someone today...that is the challenge...good luck.

Taco Bell...LIVE MAS
These are pockets of hot salsa from my favorite fast food place called Taco Bell.
As you can see there is different colors, which is the heat of the salsa.
I love the new sayings on the pockets.
These are my three favorites.
I guess you could give one of these to someone as a secret message!
Love this one...This is my good side!
Love it!
When nothing goes right, Go left.
That is too funny.
Taco Bell has taco's that are yummy for cheap.
They have some new drinks that taste like candy too.
They have wraps, they are yum-yum.
Living in California we have a lot of Taco Bells.

My letter from Reed...It made it to CA
Excitement fills my mail box today!
I never gave up hope that this letter would finally make it to me.
I have been going to my p.o. box almost every day and when it wasn't there yesterday, I must admit I was a little sad.
Happiness feels so good. A letter from a stranger, who took the time to reply to my out of the blue letter to him.
I now need to take some time and send him one back. Because he is on a mission to send 365 cards I will send him a small gift...yes a few needed stamps to help him along on his hand written letters!
Janis Joplin..what a great stamp. Her family must have been so excited to find out she would have a stamp. Here in the USA you must be dead to be on a postage stamp.
Janis died Oct.4, 1970. Not sure what happen to her but it had to have been a very sad day for her fan's.
I was in the third grade when she passed away. This was the year my parent bought a brand new two story house in a little no name town in Orange County. We drove to this house for months watching the wood sticks grow into a house. My dad had hurt his leg and was on crutches, but he still made it up the unfinished steps to see how things were going. I remember going to pick out the red carpet that would go into my very own bedroom. That carpet was there until 2008, when this house was sold after my mother died. Last week I found this house on a list of foreclosures. It really broke my heart to see that these people who wanted this house so bad are now losing it.
Thanks again to Reed for the wonder card, you made my day!

A Garden Party
I took the day off and this is what I went out my front door and had fun in the dirt.
I found a flower growing in a flower pot I let go and I put it in the dirt alone. I hope it grows big.
This is something I bough myself yesterday. I love this flower pot. I have never had one like this, so excited.
This plant should do good here.
My son made this flower in his class at school. Yes he is learning how to fix a car fender and paint it with all his heart. Every heart grows in a different way, this is a dream for him. I was just lucky enough to get a sample of his hard work.

Orchards has moved into Cerritos, Ca
This is what you see when you walk into the front door and get greeted by the paint department. I must say they are very friendly in this store and extremely helpful too.
Way to go Orchards, you hire happy employees!
Just seeing the color makes me want to paint.
I waited till everyone was gone to take this picture and then the paint guy started talking to me and was interested in my camera.
I had to tell him about my photo a day project....nice man!
The patio section is amazing in this store.
This is just one table that is so beautiful. I love the red and the whole table design.
They also had a sea shell table..so beautiful but, people were standing around so I didn't take a picture, wish I had now.
Another angle of this table. If I had a patio I would buy this whole set. I wish you could see the pillows, they are so pretty. The one in this picture is of big leaves. I had a big sunflower one in my hand and should have bought it.
I did buy some flower pots.
When I plant the flowers I will show you what I bought.
I could spend hours in this new store. I hope it makes it in this awful location.
There is a guy with white Spy glasses who is helpful, funny and worth going back to have his help.
Orchards you did a good job with moving into Cerritos, CA 90703 at the corner of Carmenita and South St.
Ifyou are in the area it is a must see. It is off the 91 freeway exit Carmenita Rd. go south and it is on the west corner where the Ralphs food store is. When you are at this corner it is confusing due to the county lines cross. Orangethorpe is going to the left into Orange County, going right turns into South Street going into Los Angeles County. When you are on Carmenita it turns into Moody Street passing Orangethorpe.
You will find your way!

Happy Easter
Happy Easter to all of you.
I found this yesterday as I was visiting my parents and playing with my camera.
This isn't what I made, someone misses their mom like I do.
I put these out for my friend Emma. She was a lady who lived next door when I was growing up. She wanted a daughter so bad and I made up for it.
It was a beautiful day yesterday, a little wind but it was just right.
I'm off to put together my photo a day pictures!

Keurig bouquet
Happy Birthday Laura.
Last year my son gave Laura a Keurig coffee pot and these are the coffee cups she uses for the machine.
My big ideas to make a fun gift and looks like I pulled it off one more time!
I didn't know what to do for her so, this is what I came up with.
I think it's cute, now I need to make a cake and her gift is done.
This is all I used, along with the cup I got for under a dollar. I got floral foam and covered it with tissue paper, then put it in the cup. Used wooden sticks and taped the Keurig cup on the bottom and stuck them around the bottom layer first and moved up.
I added some ribbon and a flat birthday cake cut out and done!
You can do this too.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you try this too.
If the Keurig company would like to send me some sample to make some other craft gifts, I will be happy to receive them.
I have an idea to make a wreath with these cups.
Happy crafting to all of you!
