TWENTY TWO

It's so hard to believe that twenty two ppl came to read my blog today! 22
That's a big wow for me.  Who know that it was possible.  I know I love to go blog hopping on Sunday morning when everyone is still sleeping.  Its the best reading I do all week long. The most interesting things that ppl put on their blog I find on a quiet Sunday morning. People tell the greatest stories, show the best pictures and have the best hobbies all over the world. I feel like I go on a journey with them and they don't even know I'm there. I just need to remember to write down their blog name so I can go back and see what they have done the next week.  I'm sure there is a way of going back but, I just haven't found it.  But maybe thats a good thing to keep moving on and don't go back.
That would be another thing I could put on here, what I learned from another blog and write the blog so you could go read it too.
That is one thing I don't have in my life is someone who is into blogs. I have nobody to tell these stories too.
It's way past my bed time.
Have the greatest week and I will find some pictures to take for the Photo a Day project I'm lacking on.

My journaling page

A little journaling of  "MY" name.
So this was the start of taking three colors and then making it your own.  SO the markers I used where yellow, blue and pink.  Then when you mark over them, you find a new color.
This isn't where I was going with this page but how I wrote my name in different ways made it all better, well, maybe I just like how I write my name.  The many personalities of me...lol
This book is showing some signs of learning new things.
The more I look at it the more it looks like a badly made quilt.
I was blog hopping today and found a blog of a lady who makes the best quilts and she has three small kids. When does she have time to cut out pieces and put them together without kids walking out the door and getting into the street?
I just remember sewing when my kids where in bed, I didn't miss out on the things they were doing and the guilt didn't get to me.
Guilt, something I really need to learn to move on.

9/11...Where were you?

September 11...it's a day you always remember where you were and what you were doing, no matter what coast you were on.
Funny how I can remember how quiet that day was with no airplanes in the air and Knott's Berry Farm closed, it was so quiet, but the tourist where out looking for somewhere else to go and there was nowhere to go but home.
I can remember thinking should I send my kids to school, we are thousand of miles away from the hurt.  So I thought there are lock downs in our school and it will be just as safe there as it would be to stay home.
They got up and feed and dressed like any other day.  It was the second day of this new school year. Princess P was going to her second day of school and loving the first day so much, how could I stop her from wanting to be a big girl now.
It's funny how I can remember that day like I can remember the day my parents died BUT, I can't remember what I cooked for dinner last night or if I said thank you enough to my kids who keep me living, laughing and happy they are the reason why I am a Mother today and for the rest of my life.

My journaling & Photo a Day

I'm excited about these two pages!
I started with the boarder, then wrote "What makes you smile". Got out the oldest stamp I have. I'm pretty sure this was the first stamp I bought, so I stamped it three times...threes a good number.
If you know me you will find my top favorite things..sunglasses, lotto tickets, roses, quotes, cup cakes and being American! I also put in my hearts, no art work is complete without a few random hearts.
day 5 of Photo a Day!
It's Sept. 5th, Special K 26th birthday.  I said I need a upside down picture so he helped me out.  Gotta love a son with a great sense of humor.
He loves the "Duck's" of Anaheim, so I found so material to make a table cloth.
I was a great day and a good dinner with a car chase on the news to follow.  The only thing he said that was missing was a earthquake...lol
day 7 of Photo a  Day...Father.
Since my Dad is in heaven and this rainbow showed up from some odd afternoon showers...I decided that a rainbow was perfect for Father.
day 9...Orange
I love this flower its called bird of paradise.
These aren't mine, they are in a parking lot of a shopping center.

As you can see I missed a few photo's. 6th is "I need"..I really don't need anything so I don't have a photo.  Day 8 is broken and I have a broken dryer but, who cares about those problems.
Tomorrow is repetition..well..how do you take a picture of that?
Hope you are doing good with your photo's and finding things you never thought were something to stop and look at.
I have a project to make with an old tee shirt, cant wait to get out the scissors.
