Good Bye 52..It was a worth it

Hard to believe it's been 52 weeks of being 52. I now must say good bye to this even number and moving on with 53.
I hope this new odd number will be kind, nice and helpful, along with a hopeful heart.
I have done many new things being 52.
I challenged myself to step out of a circle and be different, not listening to that voice of don't do it. I have done a lot.
I have cooked more, found fun where I would have never gone, wrote to a stranger and have made some big steps into the world of ageless worth.
On this last day of 52, I am feeling good about all I have done. There is more to life then getting dressed and making others happy. I have a lot more to learn about walking into a empty house. My goals will only get bigger and I will complete them without doubt.(Now that might be easier typed then done) LOL
We all need goals, dreams and brave moments of...I will do that.
Hugs to all that have laughed with me and wondered what will she do next week.
Tomorrow starts a whole new year, let's make it out of this world fun.
Happy New Year and Cheers to another Happy Birthday!

Photo A Day or Week 26

Week 26 on the best week of the year!
June 26: Gift..What gift should I give myself on this day?
I was thinking to do something different on that day.
I want a party but, I don't want to clean my house to reclean it after friends leave.
So I'm going to make some small cards and put some money in them and put them in odd places asking the person who found the card to give it to some one or enjoy it with a friend and celebrate my day with them.
I'm excited about this.  I just hope it works out like my idea in my head.
Have a great week. Thank you for coming into my life and making me smile!!

To Summer Read Or Not?

John Green has another book made into a movie..Paper Towns.  Everyone talks about having a summer reading list. I really don't know if I really have time for this but, this one should be a quick read. I really bought it for my daughter..anything to get her to read more and playstation less, you know what I mean.
Well, I will get started on this and figure out how to report on how I'm doing on it.
Do you summer read?
How do you pick your books?
I used to read a lot when Oprah had her book club.  I was looking on 2015 Challenges on google and there are alot of ppl who read a book a week, there is no way I could do that.  But, then again how many ppl are crazy like me and work 60 hours a week and more?? and don't forget that I get up at 1:30a.m. to be at work at 3 a.m. Just a little something I do because I need money...I know shut up, I made this life for me.
Happy Saturday.  I had the day off, and tomorrow too.  Sleep is my favorite thing to do. I hope your day ways filled with fun.
Until next time, Read on!

Happy Birthday to my friend next door

Panera Hazelnut Creme and Light roast cups in a cup.
I found this cup at my favorite "Good Well" shop for the cheap price of 99 cents and chose Hazelnut creme and Light roast coffee cups to make this fun gift.
I took wood sticks and taped the pods to them and pushed the sticks into a piece of foam that I put inside the cup. I curled the ribbon to hide some of the sticks that I could see. I put a "Happy Birthday sticker on top and tied ribbon to the cup handle.
She loved it and it made me so excited to see her happy.

Have a "Coke"and a smile

This is my oldest daughters name.
I was so excited to find her name, on this challenge to find all of my kids names.
Every time I go into the AM PM store I pull out every bottle looking for my name and my Princess P name. I don't have much luck at the grocery store or the drug store.  I seem to do better at the gas station.

I forgot I could cook in

Sometimes I surprise my self!
I really can make a good meal. I guess enough cooking shows and a few magazines can help anyone along a cooking journey.
I found this rolls and decided I could make something tasty with them. And so I did.

Then I decided to put some salad on it along with a piece of cheese, and don't forget the "ranch" dressing.
Put some watermelon on the side and call it...lunch.
Princess P and I sat and watch t.v. and had a great meal.

Now this picture doesn't want to part of this master piece. I guess its camera shy.  I guess it feels like two bites out was to much.
I will make these again.
Until next time, eat well.

In her P.O.Box

So very excited to see that my letter was received by Lovely Handwritten Notes!
In the month of Feb.I sent a letter to this wonderful person who hand writes notes. Never thinking I would get an reply.  I also wrote to a "guy", to complete one of my challenges to write to a stranger.
Look here...He also wrote to the same person I did and it was received on the same day..craziness.
But, look close! My letter was on top. SO that ment my letter was read first..hahaha Sorry my new friend, but, you might live in the same state but my far away letter was the first one she saw!
I received her post card yesterday and was so excited. It is a post card created by Keri Smith..so cool..love her books.
it says  ITINERARY.
...Go to the closest park
.Spend 10 minutes looking at the sky. What do you see?
.Document yourself standing under a tree
         (photo, drawing,etc.)
.Arrange something you find into a circle
          (leaves,stones,etc.)
.List the number of people you see.
.Leave something of yours in a secret location.

Ok, so, have you ever done any of this? No me either.
I have a park I walk in almost every day. Looking at the sky is something I do every day because I love to look at clouds. Document myself under a tree, not somewhere I usually sit.  Arrange something you find in a circle, now that would be something that would make my fingers dirty, not thinking I would enjoy that at all. List people I see, usually they are Asian and don't have common sense to walk in the right direction so I'm always weaving around them. Leave something of mine..all I could think of was maybe my foot print in the sand!
Now I must get on it and write again to Reed.
It's really odd how him and I have so many things in common. We like to write, we watch the same t.v. specials, we know about the problem of the homeless ppl, we both drive old cars, we like to sit at coffee places, and best of all we quietly do good things for others.
I think if I made some time, I could have a pen pal, distance is good and he seems safe.
What do you think?  Is this a creepy idea or something I should do??
All comments are worth the wait. and yes Reed can also leave a comment.
It's Friday, take some time to Smile.

My friends at work

So excited to find my two friends names on Coke bottles.
Crystal and I work on the same table every day. We have many laughs together and she has taught me some words that many not everyone my age should know but, she doesn't hold anything back!
Nicholas aka Nick is the nice's guy at work. He always says good morning to me and good night.  I'm always teasing him that some day he can be my son in law..haha.

I'm going back to work tomorrow, still a little tired, still have my awful cough but, I must stand tall and remember I must make money to put my kids through college so they won't have to have a job like I have.  Does that make any sense?
